Close informational notices when you no longer need them

Common informational notices now have an X button. Close a hint on the current page without changing the timer, room settings, or what other devices show. Live number updates keep it hidden, while a new notice or reopening the page brings it back.

  • Close End-at pause hints, missed Scheduled-start notices, and selected feature and editing notices
  • Remove the notice and its empty space without affecting timer controls
  • Keep a dismissed hint hidden as its remaining time changes
  • Show the pause hint again after resuming and pausing, or switching to another paused timer
  • Keep errors, blocking validation, and conflict-resolution controls visible
Timers

Adjust an End-at timer without changing the original plan

Adding or removing time now changes only the current End-at run. The planned finish stays unchanged, so Expected end and Difference can show the live change. For example, adding 30 seconds to a final timer planned to finish at 14:10 moves its expected finish to 14:10:30 while the plan remains 14:10.

  • Keep the original plan when using quick time adjustments, setting remaining time, or dragging the progress bar
  • Keep live adjustments through refreshes, reconnects, name edits, and saving unchanged time settings
  • Resume toward the live finish time without adding back time spent paused

Host

Connect Linked timer cards across plan gaps and overlaps

The green Linked connector now spans the full Gap or Overlap notice between timer cards, joining the previous timer to the next instead of stopping at the notice. Plan warnings remain visible, with room beside the line for their text and Resolve control.

Host

Keep live forecasts aligned with automatic starts

Fixed a mismatch between upcoming start estimates and fixed Scheduled starts. Host now follows the actual automatic-start time and warns when it will pause an unfinished timer. Manual and Linked estimates are labeled separately, and End of show makes unfinished or conditional timing clear.

  • Keep Scheduled starts at their configured time instead of shifting them after the previous timer or a planned gap
  • Show which timer an automatic start will pause and its expected real remaining time without hovering
  • Distinguish fixed automatic starts, automatic Linked starts, and estimates that depend on manual starts or a resume

Agenda

Keep planned starts through Agenda edits and CSV round trips

Fixed an issue that could remove Host planned starts when saving an Agenda edit. Planned times and their manual or calculated source stay with the draft after a refresh and are preserved when published. Duration and order changes show the recalculated plan before saving, while planned starts remain separate from automatic start settings.

  • Keep planned starts unchanged when editing names, speakers, or notes
  • Preview plan changes from duration edits, moves, copies, and deletions before publishing
  • Recover planned times for older drafts when the Room has not changed, and require review when it has
  • Preserve planned times, sources, milliseconds, and time-zone offsets in CSV exports and imports

Host

Plan Host timer starts separately from how they run

Set a planned start on a Host timer card and the following timers calculate their starts from the previous planned time and duration. Plan / Start now keeps Manual, Scheduled, and Linked together, while the duration shortcut focuses on duration, target end, and Time Warp. A planned time remains separate from the recorded actual start.

  • Set today's planned start using hours, minutes, and seconds with typing or custom dropdowns
  • Recalculate following planned starts when an earlier start or duration changes
  • Choose Manual, Scheduled, or Linked without mixing start settings into the duration shortcut
  • Distinguish manually set and calculated plans with separate icons
  • Use Select to clear planned starts from several timers that have not started
Host

Follow live start estimates and the expected end of the show

Host now compares planned starts with the live event. Upcoming start estimates follow actual starts, remaining-time changes, pauses, and waiting between timers. Below the last timer, End of show compares the planned finish with the expected finish and shows how far ahead or behind the event is.

Host

Handle plan gaps and show extra timing only when needed

A slim row between timer cards shows a gap or overlap in the plan. Resolve offers direct choices to change the previous duration, move the next start, or turn a gap into a timer; leaving it alone is also allowed. Upcoming estimates stay hidden until you hover the card, and a small dark tooltip explains each time.

  • Extend or shorten the previous timer, or move the next planned start, to close a gap or overlap
  • Convert a gap into a timer or keep the existing plan unchanged
  • Keep Plan and Set plan vertically centered when the expected start is hidden
  • Reveal the expected start inside the card on hover, then hover that time for its early or late difference

Display

Let Host and Moderator change a custom Display message size

The message size chosen in Host or Moderator now scales the message on a custom Display, not only the default screens. Display Studio still sets the design size. Lock size on a Message keeps that design size on the live screen.

  • Grow or shrink the message box with the type so a longer note stays readable
  • Keep Display Studio on the design size while you edit the layout
  • Turn on Lock size for a Message that should ignore the live size

Host

Let a Host device preview grow into the real output

Click the live thumbnail next to a connected Display, Speaker, Moderator, Agenda, or Operator and that same window grows into a larger read-only view of the page that device is showing. The picture keeps its proportions while it grows. Click the dimmed background or press Esc to return to the thumbnail.

Operator

Kept the Operator progress triangle moving while the timer runs

On Operator, the white triangle on the progress bar now travels with remaining time after Start. It had been waiting for Pause before jumping to the new position. Pause, Reset, and the rest of the console are unchanged.

Kept a locked-ratio solid background on the canvas

A custom Display with a fixed canvas, such as 9:16, now keeps a solid background color on that canvas instead of filling the whole projector window. Image backgrounds already letterboxed; solid color now matches. Default still fills the device.

  • Keep a portrait or other locked-ratio solid color on the canvas
  • Letterbox the extra bands in black, the same way a background image already did
  • Leave Default Display filling the whole device
  • Keep Studio preview on the grey desk, not the live black bands

Display Studio

Scale message, segment, and speaker type with the bounding box

Resizing a text element on the Display Studio canvas now scales its type the same way a timer already did. The Size slider on the right follows the new size, so Message, Segment name, and Speaker no longer stay locked to the slider alone.

  • Resize Message, Segment name, or Speaker to scale the type with the box
  • Keep Next segment, Room time, and Custom text on the same height-based scaling

Host

Added live previews on the Host device list

Hover a connected Display, Speaker, Moderator, Agenda, or Operator in Host to see a scaled live preview of that output. The thumbnail follows the same screen as the device, including a custom Display layout, the current message, flash, and blackout, without opening the Outputs dialog.

  • Hover a connected device in the Host list to preview what that screen is showing

Display

Let each custom Display timer choose its own reading

A custom Display can now place more than one timer on the same screen. Each timer uses the same countdown, but can show Countdown, Count up, Time of Day, or one of the combined readings from the same list used in Host and Plan. The choice stays on that Display and does not change the timer setting.

  • Add another timer and choose its reading from the Display list
  • Keep Follow timer selected to use the current timer setting
  • Show room time beneath Countdown or Count up when that combined reading is selected
  • Resize a timer's height to scale its numbers, up to 960px
  • Set Safe, Warning, and Danger colors on the timer after the progress bar is hidden or removed
  • Move a timer without pulling the progress bar to the same position
Display

Made the Display timer follow the progress colors

When Follow warning color is on, a custom Display timer now uses the same Safe, Warning, and Danger colors as the first visible progress bar or ring. Overtime uses the Danger color. Hiding or removing the progress widget keeps the original fixed colors.

Host

Added bulk actions on the Host timer list

Host can now select several timers at once. Choose Select at the top of the timer list, check the timers you want, then open the overflow menu to clone, move, delete, or change Agenda flow. Start after previous is the same live setting as Timer settings: the next timer starts when the previous one reaches 0:00, and the connector appears between the two cards.

  • Clone, move up or down, or delete the selected timers from the overflow menu

Host

Added a session progress bar across every Host timer

When a room has two or more timers, Host now shows a thin session bar between the live preview and the timer list. It follows the combined planned length, moves only while a timer is running, and stays still during pauses or gaps between timers.

  • Show remaining time against the combined planned length of every timer
  • Split the bar by each timer's duration so longer segments take more of the track
  • Freeze the bar when a timer is paused or the next timer has not started
  • Keep overtime on the current segment instead of eating the next timer
  • Hide the bar when the room has only one timer, so it does not duplicate the current progress bar
Timer cues

Stopped leftover overtime flash from following the next timer

Starting the next timer no longer reuses the previous timer's overtime flash. Each flash now stays with the timer that triggered it, so a new segment follows its own Start, Yellow, Red, and Overtime settings.

  • Keep overtime flash on the timer that ran out
  • Clear leftover flash when Host switches to another timer
  • Let the next timer start without flashing unless its own Start flash is on
  • Apply the same behavior on Display, Speaker, Moderator, Operator, and Agenda
Host

Added a Host timer-list shortcut for Start after previous

Hover the gap between two Host timer cards to show the Linked Start connector, then click the line to make the lower timer start when the previous timer reaches 0:00. The same live setting appears in Host Quick Design, Timer settings, Plan, and Plan settings. Click the connector again to remove the automatic start.

Display

Made live Display follow the saved custom layout

A saved custom Display now opens on the shared Display link, including projectors and other venue devices. Live Display stays read-only. If the layout cannot load, the room falls back to the default Display instead of showing a blank screen.

  • Open the same saved layout on the Display output link
  • Keep live Display free of Studio handles and drag controls
  • Leave timing, messages, password, pause, and rotate on the existing Output
  • Fall back to the default Display when a layout cannot load

Display Studio

Dim a Display background so the timer stays readable

A custom Display background image can now be dimmed so remaining time stays readable from the back of the room. Cover and Contain still choose how the photo fills the canvas. Solid color and transparent canvases are unchanged. Save still publishes the layout to the live Display.

  • Keep Cover to fill the canvas, or Contain to show the whole photo
  • Dim the photo from 0% to 80% so remaining time stays readable
  • Keep Dim when swapping to another image in the library
  • Upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 5 MB
  • Leave solid color and transparent canvases unchanged
Outputs

Made extra custom Displays a Premium upgrade

Outputs now shows how many custom Displays the current plan can keep. Pro can edit one layout in place. Adding another screen is marked Premium. Free Customize still opens a greyed Studio preview with a Pro banner, instead of sending people away to pricing.

  • Show 1 of 1 custom Display on Pro, and N of 20 on Premium
  • Let Pro Customize open the existing layout and overwrite it on Save
  • Mark New custom Display as Premium until the account upgrades

Display

Added canvas sizes for projectors, tablets, and phones

Custom Display can now keep the adaptive default screen, or lock a fixed canvas for a projector, confidence monitor, tablet, or phone. Fixed layouts scale as a whole and do not stretch. Default still fills the device the way the current Display does.

  • Keep Default for an adaptive Display that fills the device
  • Choose fixed 16:9, 4:3, portrait, tablet, or phone canvases

Pro Display layouts can now use one custom logo and one background image, or keep a solid or transparent canvas. Extra uploads stay available as a Premium upgrade, while images already in the library can still be selected.

Added a ring progress option on custom Display

Custom Display progress can now be a bar or a ring. Elapsed time stays transparent so the canvas shows through. The bar can keep its triangle marker; the ring uses a small circular marker that travels with remaining time.

Display Studio can now move and resize the timer, segment name, speaker, message, and room clock on the canvas. Choose from 15 distinct, self-hosted fonts, then set size, weight, color, and alignment. Venue Display devices load the same faces without calling Google Fonts.

Rebuilt Plan as a full-width Run of Show timeline

Agenda planning now uses the full screen instead of a nested card or table. Each item is a timeline row that shows the same details as Host: start time, duration, speaker, notes, colored labels, and Linked Start. Opening Plan resumes a local draft immediately, and Host and Plan now share one timer settings editor.

The Host preview progress bar can now be dragged to jump remaining time. Hovering reveals a ruler under the bar, aligned to the same width, so you can click or drag to a new position without opening Time adjustments.

Made new timer cue defaults clearer and safer

New Pro and Premium Timers now start with practical visual cues for the room: Off at Start, then 1-second, 3-second, and 3-second flashes for Yellow, Red, and Overtime. Timing teams get the default alerts, while the audience-facing Display receives visual cues without unexpected sound.

Added a persistent flash for the on-screen Display Message

Host and Moderator can now flash the current on-screen message the same way the timer number flashes. Click once to start, click again to stop. The live pulse follows Display, Speaker, and the Host preview without changing the saved Room.

Host and Operator can now black out every Display without pausing the timer. The audience screen goes empty for a break, source change, or OBS capture, while Host, Operator, Speaker, Moderator, and Agenda keep seeing the live clock.

Built for live event directors, webinar managers, and stage runners, the Operator console provides large tactile controls, instant timer adjustments, seamless segment switching, and screen wake lock protection—without cluttering the view with room settings or audience messages.

  • Select individual devices or use Select all, with a scrollable list for larger rooms

Added quick timer details across shared views

You can now update a timer's title, Speaker, Notes, and color labels from the card pencil without opening the full settings panel. Those details stay synchronized across the Host card, Agenda, Moderator and Speaker next-segment cards, while Display keeps its focus on the timer and current Speaker.

Timer alerts now flash the time digits instead of the whole timer, with a clearer Host control for an immediate manual flash. Pro hosts can choose how long each Start, Yellow, Red, and Overtime flash lasts, including continuous flashing, while every shared timer view can receive the cue.

Timer cues now behave consistently through pauses, resets, reconnects, background-tab recovery, and settings changes. Saved Room reopening and WebSocket close handling were also hardened to prevent confusing lost-room or send-after-close errors.
